Haddock

Fresh and smoked

Fresh Haddock fillets

Haddock has a silvery skin and a black lateral line down the center. It comes from North Atlantic waters the same as Cod. It has a white flaky textured flesh with a slightly sweet taste.

Haddock is sold fresh and can be cooked in a variety of ways from steaming, poaching, grilling & frying. Take care not to overcook this as can become dry on the flesh.

If freezing it is best to freeze on the day of purchase and use within two to three months

This Grimsby smokehouse has been smoking fish for 100 years in its traditional brick smokehouse. Naturally smoked overnight to allow for a fuller flavour. These are undyed fillets.
